Product Description

KTMT Series Hydraulic Motor for Industrial Conveyor Systems

01. Product Overview – High-Pressure Hydraulic Drive for Industrial Conveying Equipment

The KEYSTONE KTMT Series is a high-pressure, high-torque hydraulic motor designed for hydraulic drive systems requiring substantial torque output and different displacement configurations.

In industrial material handling, conveyor systems may operate under changing material loads, varying conveying resistance, and extended operating cycles. Selecting a suitable hydraulic motor requires consideration of displacement, working pressure, flow rate, rotational speed, and installation compatibility.

The KTMT Series offers four displacement options: 315, 400, 470, and 500 ml/r. With continuous pressure ratings reaching up to 31 MPa and continuous torque reaching up to 1,632 N·m, it can be evaluated for selected industrial conveyor drive applications.

Potential application directions include hydraulic conveyor drives, material transfer equipment, and selected industrial conveying mechanisms. Final compatibility should be confirmed against the actual equipment design and operating conditions.

02. Structural Features – Plane Flow Distribution and Wear Compensation

The KTMT Series adopts a plane flow distribution structure and provides automatic wear compensation capability.

Its main structural and configuration features include:

  • Plane Flow Distribution: The motor uses a plane distribution structure as its core flow distribution design.

  • Automatic Wear Compensation: The structure provides compensation capability after wear.

  • High-Pressure Operation: Continuous pressure reaches up to 31 MPa, depending on displacement.

  • High Torque Output: Maximum continuous torque reaches 1,632 N·m.

  • Multiple Configurations: Different displacement, output shaft, and oil port options support equipment integration requirements.

For industrial conveyor applications, engineers should evaluate the motor according to material weight, starting resistance, required conveying speed, and operating cycle. System pressure and available flow should also be checked before selecting a displacement.

03. Technical Specifications – Four Displacement Options

The KTMT Series provides four displacement configurations to help equipment manufacturers match hydraulic motor performance with different drive requirements.

Selection Guidance:

  • 315 ml/r: Consider when the drive system requires a relatively higher rotational speed.

  • 400 ml/r: Evaluate for applications requiring a different balance between speed and torque.

  • 470 ml/r: Consider when higher torque output is a priority.

  • 500 ml/r: Provides the highest continuous torque rating within the series.

These ratings correspond to different displacement configurations. Maximum pressure, speed, and torque values should not be treated as simultaneously achievable operating values.

04. Selection Guide – Shaft, Port, and Installation Compatibility

Selecting a hydraulic motor for an industrial conveyor involves more than matching displacement and torque. Mechanical installation and hydraulic connections must also be checked.

Output Shaft Options

The KTMT Series provides four output shaft configurations: A, B, C, and D. The appropriate shaft should be selected according to the equipment transmission structure and connection requirements.

Oil Port Options

Available oil port configurations include:

  • M33×2

  • 2-G1

  • 2-G3/4

Mounting Dimensions

  • Mounting dimensions: 178 × 178 mm

  • Mounting holes: 4-Φ18

Information to Confirm Before Ordering

To identify a suitable KTMT configuration, customers should provide:

  1. Required output torque and rotational speed.

  2. Continuous and peak operating pressure.

  3. Available hydraulic flow rate.

  4. Conveyor load and operating cycle.

  5. Output shaft and mounting dimensions.

  6. Hydraulic oil port and pipeline connection requirements.

For conveyor systems with frequent starting, stopping, or changing material loads, the starting torque requirement and actual pressure differential should receive particular attention.
